In compliance with the directives of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Hon\u2019ble Supreme Court of India, the <strong>Anti-Ragging Squad<\/strong> functions as a vigilant body to prevent and respond to any form of ragging on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ragging, in any form\u2014physical, verbal, psychological, or online\u2014is strictly prohibited. The college enforces a <strong>zero-tolerance policy<\/strong> towards such acts, ensuring that every student experiences a positive, safe, and welcoming environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Purpose and Objectives:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To prevent incidents of ragging through strict surveillance and regular monitoring<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To intervene immediately upon any reported or observed case of ragging<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To conduct surprise inspections in hostels, classrooms, and common areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To support the Anti-Ragging Committee in inquiry and disciplinary actions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To create awareness among students through orientations and campaigns<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Composition of the Squad:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Anti-Ragging Squad is formed with faculty members, staff, and designated security personnel who actively patrol high-sensitivity zones across the campus. Members operate under the supervision of the Anti-Ragging Committee and are empowered to take immediate preventive action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Reporting Mechanism:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can report any ragging incident anonymously or directly through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The official anti-ragging helpline\/email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complaint boxes installed in academic blocks and hostels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Direct contact with faculty or student counselors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All complaints are treated with seriousness and strict confidentiality.
