The Infrastructure Development Committee plays a crucial role in planning, implementing, and monitoring the development of physical, academic, and technological facilities on campus.
This committee ensures that the institution’s infrastructure meets current needs and supports future growth, aligned with academic goals and student success.
Objectives of the Committee:
- To assess and address the infrastructure needs of all departments and administrative units
- To propose, plan, and execute construction, renovation, and modernization projects
- To ensure compliance with AICTE, UGC, and university norms related to space and facilities
- To provide a safe, sustainable, and inclusive environment for students and staff
- To monitor infrastructure-related budgets, timelines, and quality standards
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Academic Infrastructure:
Construction and upkeep of classrooms, laboratories, seminar halls, and smart learning spaces - Administrative Infrastructure:
Offices, staff rooms, conference halls, and student service counters - Residential & Recreational Facilities:
Hostels, dining areas, indoor/outdoor sports complexes, gymnasiums, and common rooms - Technology Infrastructure:
Networking, computer labs, ERP systems, LMS servers, and security systems - Green Campus Initiatives:
Solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, waste management, and eco-friendly buildings
Functions of the Committee:
- Requirement Assessment:
Collect inputs from stakeholders (faculty, students, departments) regarding infrastructure needs - Project Planning:
Prepare project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines for approval by the management - Vendor Coordination:
Finalize technical specifications and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and architects - Monitoring & Reporting:
Regular site inspections, progress tracking, and documentation of all developmental activities - Post-Completion Review:
Evaluate the utility, safety, and effectiveness of completed projects

Members from Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical departments
Finance Officer
